Who does it support?

Arogya focuses on creating a connection with any individual in the rural area who needs medical assistance. A lot of individuals are hesitant to visit doctors due to high costs and ignorance about the disease. This initiative dissolves their hesitation by allowing them to avail the right guidance in their village free of cost.

How Does it work?

The doctors from Ahmedabad connect with patients in the village through two main mediums

SETU Health Center

SETU Telemedicine Van

Both the mediums are well-equipped with needed technology and paramedical professionals. Doctors from Ahmedabad connect through video calls and communicate with the patients. Basic questions are asked and patients are inspected by the paramedical professional. The required medicine is given to them after the examination. This activity regularly happens throughout Kharaghoda and nearby villages from Tuesday to Sunday.

A

A fully-operational laboratory is present in the center. It conducts almost all kinds of needed tests. The reports are given to the patients within a few hours (the same day). The reports help in better diagnosis by the doctor. The patients do not have to go anywhere else in search of a laboratory in the village. It gives instant solutions to their health problems.

In case of any tests that cannot be conducted in the lab at Kharaghoda, the samples are collected and sent to Ahmedabad. SETU has tie-ups with laboratories in Ahmedabad that provide the reports as quickly as possible. The report reaches the village within 3 days and the patient gets on a video call with a doctor for further treatment through the SETU center or van.
